SHIPPING

We will provide you with a tracking tracking number shortly after the goods are shipped. The estimated shipping time is one to seven (1-7) days depending on the destination of the parcel. Although shipping time can take up to fourteen (14) days.

 

IMPORT TAXES

Melodio will not charge VAT on orders from customers outside of the EU VAT zone. Taxes can be charged in the country of residence of the customer, depending on the laws of that Country. Melodio can not be held accountable for import taxes/duties you have to pay on your own order in your own country outside of the EU VAT zone. Melodio can also not be held accountable for VAT that you have to pay in your country when you are inside of the EU VAT zone till the 1st of July 2021 (and maybe longer). The EU is working on modernizing the VAT for Cross-border E-commerce. These are exciting times and the EU VAT E-commerce package is postponed to July 1st, 2020. In the coming months we will get to know if July the 1st is the actual date that the EU VAT E-commerce package will be introduced. Depending on this decision we will have to decide when we are starting to include the taxes in our process. Once the E-commerce package is introduced, we will handle the taxes by paying them in your designated country in advance after the order is placed. Know that we might have to raise the prices of some of the products according to the extra cost that we will be making in the future by clearing your taxes for you.

 

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

Statutory right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer, you are entitled to a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal under EU rules (see “Instructions for withdrawal from the Contract”).

Please note that the right of withdrawal does not apply in the following cases:

  • Delivery of goods which are not prefabricated and have been manufactured on the basis of a personal choice or according to customer specifications, or of goods which have clearly been tailored to the customer’s personal requirements.
  • Delivery of sealed goods which are not suitable to be returned for reasons relating to health protection or hygiene if their seal has been removed after delivery.
  • Delivery of newspapers, journals or magazines, excluding subscription contracts.

Instructions for withdrawal from the Contract

You are entitled to withdraw from this Contract within fourteen (14) days without giving any reason for doing so. The deadline for withdrawal shall be fourteen (14) days from the date on which you or a third party you have appointed, who is not the carrier, takes possession of the final goods delivered. In order to exercise your statutory right of withdrawal, you must notify us (Melodio, email: info@melodio.net) of your decision to withdraw from this Contract in a clear declaration (e.g. by sending a letter by email). The withdrawal deadline shall be deemed to be met if you have sent the communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the expiry of the deadline.

Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this Contract, we must reimburse you for any payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (excluding the additional costs incurred if you have selected a different type of delivery to the cheapest standard delivery option offered by us) without delay, but no later than fourteen (14) days after the day on which we receive the notice of your withdrawal from this Contract. We will use the same payment method you used for the original transaction in order to reimburse you unless otherwise expressly agreed; under no circumstances will you be charged a fee for this refund. We may withhold the reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.

You must return or hand over the goods to us without delay and no later than fourteen (14) days from the date on which you notify us of your withdrawal from this Contract, or within fourteen (14) days from the moment you have received the goods, whichever is last. The deadline is deemed to be met if you send the goods before the expiry of the fourteen-day deadline.

You will be liable for any diminished value of the goods if this loss in value is attributable to any use or handling of the goods which is not deemed necessary in order to verify the condition, features and functioning of the goods.

Exclusions from the statutory right of withdrawal

The statutory right of withdrawal shall not apply in the following cases:

• Delivery of goods which are not prefabricated and have been manufactured on the basis of a personal choice or according to customer specifications, or of goods which have clearly been tailored to the customer’s personal requirements.
• Delivery of sealed goods which are not suitable to be returned for reasons relating to health protection or hygiene if their seal has been removed after delivery.

REFUND & RETURN POLICY

Our refund and returns policy lasts 14 days, counting from the day you have received the product(s). If the 14 days have passed since you have received the product(s), we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

 

 

RETURN POLICY

Exchanges & Returns

If for any reason you would like to exchange your product, perhaps for a different size of knobs. You must contact us first and we will guide you through the steps. An exchange isn’t always possible under the warranty policy. If the product isn’t/wasn’t available in stock, you will get a full refund instead.

Please do not send your purchase back to us unless we authorize you to do so. We will authorize you by sending you a return address (and a RMA # if applicable).

 

REFUNDS

Refunds within fourteen days

You are entitled to a refund within fourteen (14) days from the date on which you placed your order according to the statutory right of withdrawal.

Refunds after fourteen days

If you want a refund after fourteen (14) days from the date on which you placed your order, the refund procedure after fourteen days below applies (see “Refund procedure after fourteen days”).

Refund procedure after fourteen days

If you did not receive the product within the guaranteed time (14 days excluding 1-5 day processing) you can request a refund or a reshipment. If you received the wrong item you can request a refund or a reshipment. If you do not want the product you’ve received you may request a refund but the item must be unused. In most cases we will cover the expense unless told otherwise.

We will not refund any in case of one of the following points below.

  • Your order did not arrive due to factors within your control (i.e. providing the wrong shipping address)
  • Your order did not arrive due to exceptional circumstances outside the control of Melodio (i.e. not cleared by customs, delayed by a natural disaster).
  • Other exceptional circumstances outside the control of Melodio.

You can submit refund requests within 15 days after the guaranteed period for delivery (14 days) has expired. You can do so by sending an e-mail to info@melodio.net

If you are approved for a refund, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 14 days.

 

REFUND/RETURN PROCEDURE

  1. You must e-mail us within seven days of receiving the goods and clearly state:
    1. Your details
    2. Reason for refund, return, or resent.
    3. Pictures that may show the product(s) is/are not as expected (in case of damaged or incorrect/divergent product(s))
  2. We will respond within 1-14 days with either
    1. An acceptance of your refund, or a return request including a return address and a RMA number (only in case of return)
    2. A refusal (e.g. if the request is made outside the stated return period)
    3. An offer to resent the original product(s)
  3. If your refund/return request is approved, we will let you know weather you have to return the goods. If you do, your goods should be addressed to the supplier’s address, while noting the RMA # on the address label. The suppliers address and the RMA # will be supplied by us in the e-mail we sent as an reply to your refund request.
  4. After your refund request is processed/you returned & shipped the goods, a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 14 days.

 

GUARANTEE (WARRANTY)

Guarantee (warranty)

You always have the right to a minimum 2-year guarantee at no cost. Under EU rules, we must repair, replace, reduce the price or give you a refund if goods you bought turn out to be faulty or do not look or work as advertised.

Melodio offers a 2-year legal guarantee of conformity, from the date that the item was delivered to the consumer. This 2-year guarantee is your minimum right. You have a right to warranty if the product you have purchased has become faulty within a period of 2 years after the purchase.

Ineligible for warranty

Below is a list of products that are nearly always ineligible for our warranty:

  • Products which are prefabricated and have been manufactured on the basis of a personal choice or according to customer specifications, or of goods which have clearly been tailored to the customer’s personal requirements (i.e. profiles cut to a specific length).
  • Products which are not suitable to be returned for reasons relating to health protection or hygiene if their seal has been removed after delivery.
  • Products that have been damaged in transit to Melodio as a result of improper/poor packaging.
  • Products which have in any way made contact with any tool (including but not limited to Soldering iron, snips, pliers, screwdriver, wire cutters).
  • Products with broken screens and/or displays.
  • Products with moisture or water damage.

 

CANCELLING ORDERS

All orders can be canceled until they are shipped. If your order has been paid and you need to make a change or cancel an order, you must contact us before we ship your package. Once the packaging and shipping process has started, it can no longer be cancelled. If you cancel your order within fourteen (14) days you will still be entitled to a refund according to the statutory right of withdrawal.
